Qadianis / Ahmadiyyah

The Qadiani movement is another minor group that went in a different path during the long history of Islam. The group, which originated in the 19th century, is believed to be outside the realm of Islam by all Muslim scholars. Historians believe that it was instigated and encouraged by the British occupying forces in India as a tool to control the Muslim population and as a mean to create a rift. The small group's central article of faith, which separates it from the rest of the Muslim nation, is their belief that their founder, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was the seal of the prophets and the long awaited Messiah.
